Builders:
Charter Furniture is actively seeking skilled craftsmen to fill
the builders positions currently available. A qualified applicant
must have several years experience in building high-end, custom
cabinetry and possess the skills to build large projects from blueprints.
Only builders with the highest level of attention to detail will
be successful in this position.
Shop Helper / Delivery Person:
The Shop Helper / Delivery person must be able to lift large, heavy
objects with control and steadiness. This person should be a self-starter
and hold a clean driving record. While this is an entry-level position,
the opportunity to quickly learn (and progress) is very strong.
Computer Assisted Draftsperson:
Applicants for this position should be very well versed in AutoCAD,
highly detailed personality and have a strong familiarity of cabinet
building techniques. Strong communication, organizational and 3-D
spatial skills are a must for this position.
Project Manager:
A model applicant for this position would require the skill to
organize and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process. He
or she would have the ability to seek effective cost saving changes
in the process while maintaining efficiency.
Outside Salesperson:
Although this is not a current position, we see this playing a
crucial role in the future development and growth of our company.
The ideal candidate would be an outgoing individual with several
years experience in outside sales, preferably with a cabinetry
background. He or she would have the ability to communicate the
wishes of our customers to our production team and to see that
those are fully met.
Currently, our primary focus is on residential, however there
are huge opportunities in the commercial field (which we have
not explored
but are well equipped to handle). Should you feel that you would
